Who We Are
Five years ago, a few Christian friends decided to meet and worship the Lord in a small-group setting rather than in a large, formal, worship service. Sitting around the table, everyone can hear and everyone is encouraged to make comments and ask questions.
We do not pay a preacher nor do we have expenses so 100% of our contributions go to help others. We have given money to local people who are in need, purchased Bibles in India and Russia, and contributed to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. We have been blessed. So far, we have distributed more than $65,000.00 and studied more than 19 books of the Bible, verse by verse, word by word.
We have a commentary sheet for each lesson that we also read and discuss. We email this commentary to more than 35 members of our Bible Study Buddies group each week. If you, or someone you know, would like to be added to this mailing list, just let me know.
"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20.
As Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." Romans 1:16.
When the weather is warm, we worship on our porch. When it is cold, we move inside by the fireplace.
